Frequently Asked Questions
How does the pass work?
How does the pass work?
It’s simple: a credits package makes up your pass – the credits value is the number of credits you can use.
For the Explorer Pass, the credits value is equal to the number of attraction choices you opt for, for example:
- A 2-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 2 attractions = 2 Credits
- A 3-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 3 attractions = 3 Credits
- A 4-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 4 attractions = 4 Credits
- A 5-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 5 attractions = 5 Credits
- A 6-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 6 attractions = 6 Credits
- A 7-choice London Explorer credits package allows you to visit 7 attractions = 7 Credits
Once you've purchased your passes, you'll receive a confirmation email with details on how to download and activate them.
Download the Go City App:
To start your pass, you'll need to download the free Go City app to your Apple or Android device and follow the instructions in your confirmation email to sync your pass to the app. Then all you've got to do is show your pass at each attraction. The app includes entry information, opening hours and a handy digital map
Sync Your Pass:
It's easy to sync your pass to the app. You'll just need to enter the confirmation number that can be found in your confirmation email. And don't worry, doing this won't activate your pass. That comes later, when you visit your first attraction.
Book your must-sees:
Although many attractions don't require a reservation, some are pretty popular and need to be booked in advance. Look out for the 'reservations required' stamp in the app when browsing attractions. If a booking is required, just click on the attraction and you'll find all the info you need to make it happen!

What is Go Reserve, and what happens when I use it to book an attraction?
Some of the attraction partners allow you to make a reservation via the easy-to-use Go Reserve online portal. If an attraction requires a reservation through the portal, you'll find instructions on how to do so in the 'Know before you go' section of the attraction's page on our website and app.
When you make a reservation on the Go Reserve platform, this will count towards your pass usage.
If you have an Explorer Pass, your reservation will count as one of your choices.
If you fail to show up, or do not cancel in enough time, your reservation will still count as one of your days/choices.
